Clover Press Reveals Four New Marvel Masterworks Hardcovers for 2027
Clover Press has released details for four new Marvel Masterworks hardcover collections scheduled for release in early 2027. The volumes were funded through Kickstarter earlier in 2026 and will continue Marvel’s established Masterworks numbering.
The announcement marks another step in the revival of the long-running archival line, which had been on hiatus since 2025 before Clover Press took over its publication.
Four Collections Cover Different Eras of Marvel
The announced books include:
- Marvel Masterworks: Uncanny X-Men Vol. 18 — a 536-page collection featuring Uncanny X-Men #256–268 and related annuals and additional material. It is scheduled for February 3, 2027, at a listed price of $100.
Each volume will have three cover options: a standard Black and Silver Edition, a Clover Press edition featuring artwork by multiple artists, and a direct-market variant.
Preserving Marvel’s Comics History
Masterworks editions are designed for readers who want curated, archival collections of older comics. Their appeal extends beyond nostalgia: these books preserve stories, artwork and creative runs that helped shape Marvel’s characters and publishing history.
The new editions also demonstrate the continuing market for premium collected editions, where restoration, presentation and the completeness of a run can be as important as the stories themselves.
The listed prices place these hardcovers in the premium segment of the collected-edition market. Readers should check retailer listings for final availability and regional pricing.
