A new story set in Gotham City has arrived on WEBTOON with Gotham by Daylight, a series that places Duke Thomas at the centre of an unsettling mystery.

The first three episodes—“Duke, Part One,” “Duke, Part Two” and “Duke, Part Three”—were released on October 19, 2026. The series is listed in WEBTOON’s horror category, with new episodes scheduled every Tuesday.

A Gotham City Without Darkness

The story introduces a disturbing situation in which the days grow longer and Gotham’s residents begin behaving strangely. Duke Thomas, known as the city’s daylight protector, must confront the threat alongside a group of ordinary citizens.

As members of the group are targeted one by one, the mystery becomes increasingly dangerous. The unusual absence of darkness provides a different setting for a Gotham story, shifting attention towards a threat that cannot be understood through the city’s familiar nighttime imagery alone.

A Different Approach to Gotham

The series combines a recognisable superhero setting with horror-oriented storytelling and WEBTOON’s vertical-scroll format.

Duke Thomas offers a different perspective from stories centred primarily on Bruce Wayne. The digital format also gives readers another way to explore Gotham outside traditional print comic books.

The creative team listed on WEBTOON includes Mike Birchall, Jeannine A. Halley, Ekass, Paula Fidelis, FELICO STUDIO, Pinga, RoiVal and WmW.
